Get your class schedule as early as possible so you can plan your work schedule around it. Whenever possible, take classes that are back-to-back or during one part of the day (all morning or all evening, for example) so all of your academic stuff is in one block of time.

Let your professors know your work schedule and let your boss know your class schedule. Don’t expect them to plan around you, but by keeping them in the loop, they may be more likely to be flexible with you on due dates and work hours. But ask for favors ONLY after exploring all other options.

Plan to do a bunch of errands all at once on the way to school or on the way back from work, or during the time between classes. Think of it like this: the more efficiently you use your time during the week, the more time you’ll have for yourself to have fun on the weekends!
